4.8/5 Or Higher Rated Udemy Technology Related Courses

First, I would love to recommend long term artistic skills, but if coding and programming is still your forte for now, below are more video courses that can help you in this endeavour. The education landscape is changing, evolving into a more home learning experience. Education institutions is still the norm for mass learning via lectures and classes, but personalised or customised learning was there in the form of books, which is why some kids who read a lot are more knowledgeable in comparison. With the digital age, video courses are becoming more prevalent. To each his own. The key is to find quality information or courses, be it online  or offline, institutions or video courses. Here is a list of Udemy development courses picked for their high ratings.

Why Udemy?
Good courses within are clearly organised and structured by sections. Not only is there a wide variety but you have to choose selectively: Quality, quality and quality. There is usually a running promotion. And good courses that deliver high value should be worth the affordable price in the range of $9.99-$11.90. And there are also reviews, Iphone/Android App, and 30 days money back guarantee to help you decide.

Tips for Udemy course quality selection:

  1. You should also checkout when the course was last updated to ensure it is not too outdated.
  2. At least take a glance at the table of content for what is covered to know if it match up to your expectation.
  3. Another indicator that may help (but not definite) to gauge the value is the longer video hours covered. Knowledgable instructors tend to have a lot to teach but some may be repetitive.
  4. Between 4.8 to 5.0, go for the higher rating if there is a close choice.
  5. Read through the reviews to make sure it makes sense like did the reviewers says why they like it or what results did they get after implementation. We do NOT want rigged reviews.
  6. How many reviewers? A high rating with many reviewers i.e. 20++ is more reliable.
  7. Courses usually have preview videos. Watch one and see if you like it or not.
  8. You can play the video faster for familiar topics as refresher or you can also the the back arrow on keyboard to just repeat some seconds to reinforce an important point. Enter to pause or resume.
  9. If you find the course unsatisfactory, then there is still the 30 days money back guarantee.
Personally, the courses I tend to keep and like (may not be 4.8 or above) are those whose instructors are capable and/or clearly knowledgable with skills or numbers to backup their long/numerous video content.

For example,

Udemy Courses Below Rated 4.8/5 or higher (As of writing), which means that these courses are likely not to disappoint though individual experiences vary. Having said that, be sure the course you purchase can help you in the right goal, do not let the payment be just another transaction course left unused like wasteful spare dresses hardly if ever worn.

How does Udemy compare with other platforms in Google Trend?

Khan Academy (red) is free and focus on kids learning - most popular of the lot. But the zig zag pattern looks weird though.

alison (green) is free as well and performing very well in terms of popularity. Not sure about you, but I personally prefer Udemy interface and feel.

Udemy (blue) seem to garnered more interest with steady rise and overtakes coursera (yellow) in more recent times.

MOOC courses (purple) and coursera may have collegiate or university  recognition.

Whichever you choose, best of luck in your future endeavours :-)
